Labour have called on the Prime Minister to launch a full inquiry into whether Amber Rudd misled Parliament over the existence of deportation targets for illegal immigrants.

Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell says the Home Secretary “either misled Parliament, or was too incompetent to manage her own department”, suggesting she should resign from her role.
