Former Chief Executive of Northern Foods “frightened” about Sainsbury’s-Asda merger

Lord Haskins, the former Chief Executive of Northern Foods, tells Sky Ian King he is “frightened” about the Sainsbury’s-Asda merger and feels it is a “defensive” move. Sainsbury’s and Asda say their planned £13bn merger will maintain the number of stores operated by the two brands and cut shoppers’ costs.
